KATHMANDU, July 21: A 15-point MoU has been signed between the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development and Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) amid a function organized at the Ministry on Friday.

The MoU has the main objective of development of the local levels. The joint secretary at the Ministry Rudra Singh Tamang and FNCCI chair Bhawani Rana signed the MoU.

The MoU has provisions to effectively prepare annual plan at local level, to ensure the representation of industrial sector at the local level and the FNCCI supporting the marketing of local products.

Similarly, the MoU stipulates maintaining harmonious relations, managing the banking service for social security allowance distribution, infrastructure development, tourism promotion among others several issues.

Secretary at the Ministry Dinesh Thapaliya said that the Ministry was initiating to work together with private sectors to make the local bodies sound and strong.

Similarly, FNCCI chair Rana expressed her pleasure at the Ministry’s effort of working together with the private sector as it was essential for holistic development of the nation. RSS
