KATHMANDU, Aug 21: The voting of the Federation of Nepali Journalist (FNJ) election has completed. The voting began at 10:00 am in the morning. The 25th general convention of theFNJ will elect a new 45-member executive committee including president, two vice presidents, general secretary, treasurer and six secretaries.

Of the total 1515 FNJ central councilors, only 1149 cast votes, informed a Reporters’ Club Nepal based media person from the voting venue.

It has been agreed that the counting voting will be done in the voting center. The voting took place at the general convention venue, Nepal Academy.

As the counting of the votes is commencing shortly, the result of the FNJ election is likely to be out by midnight.
