KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Former King Gyandendra Shah has visited Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Monday.

Ex-King Shah, who is on a tour of the western region, had reached Lucknow today morning. He was received by Adityanath at the latter’s official residence where Adityanath had offered scarf and emblem of Kumbha Festival 2019 to Shah.

“Today, ex-King of Nepal Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah paid at the official residence in Lucknow. We offered him scarf and logo of Kumbha Festival,” tweeted Adityanath.
