KATHMANDU, Aug 14: Thousands of devotees of Lord Shiva have visited Pashupatinath temple since early morning today, the last Monday of the holy month Shrawan. The Mondays of the month Shrawan are considered holy and taken as having great religious significance.

Both married and unmarried woman pay visit to Shiva temples and fast every Monday in a belief that worshipping Lord Shiva during the month can fulfill their wish for long life of their husband or getting a good husband.
