Kamal Bishawokarma, 25, who had left for Malaysia on March 21, died by being crushed with a loaded crane on March 31, Kamal´s relative Suresh Bishawokarma said. Kamal was the sole breadwinner of the family.

Kamal, father of two daughters, had gone Malaysia as a factory worker in Kanfo Engineering Operation Company. The last rites of Kamal were performed in his hometown on Thursday

Leader Thapa was speaking at a talk program on ‘Federalism, Democracy and Nationality, and role of political parties for new Nepal’ organized by Nepal Australia Democracy Forum in Sydney on Sunday.

Forum’s Chairman Surendra Sigdel, Nepali Ambassador to Australia Rudra Kumar Nepal and a large number of Nepalis living in Sydney were present during the program.

On the occasion, ambassador Nepal said Nepali Diasporas love the nation more than they were in the motherland. He said the Nepalis living in Australia have wished the formation of a stable government and new constitution. He also pledged support from the side of Nepali Embassy to the national issues and community welfare carried out by Nepali community living in Australia.
During the program, Mahendra Lamsal, a Nepali national appointed as the ministerial-level advisory committee of the Australian government and others were felicitated.

Counsellor General in New South Wales Dipak Khadka, Nepali national to be honoured from Order of Australia Indra Ban, NRN Oceania Coordinator Man KC, NRN chairman Ganesh KC and others suggested that Nepali leaders should take efforts for establishing lasting peace and formation of a stable government.

Thapa said restoration of the dissolved CA was a phony political agenda. But, elections to CA, parliament and local level should be conducted at the same time, Gagan said.

During the program, leader Thapa answered the queries of the Nepali community in Australia and argued that state should ensure people’s representation, access to power, dignity, identity and progress. He said, “Ethnic federalism in a multiethnic society like Nepal is not possible.”
