Police informed that the jeep enroute to Jalpa from Chilangdi skidded off 100 metres down the road and said that the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
]]>Police has identified the deceased as Lalu Maya Tamang, 52, of Kalyanpur-9 and Ram Prasad Adhikari, 50.
The mini truck (Ba 1 Kha 8494) heading for Raniswar of Kalyanpur VDC from Bidur Municipality-8, Baguwa, wheered of the road.
Truck driver Santosh Tamang, 23, of Thansing-4, two passangers Sunita Thakuri of Kalyanpur-9, and Srijana Singh Thakuri have sustained critical injuries in the accident.
They were brought to Kathmandu for treatment. Rest of the injured have been receiving medical attention at Trishuli Hospital.
]]>The accident took place when a bus (Lu. 1 Kha 6551) heading towards Kathmandu from Narayangadh hit a truck (Na. 4 Kha 8254) heading towards Mugling from Narayangadh, said the District Police Office, Chitwan.
The injured are being treated in College of Medical Sciences, Chitwan, it is learnt. Out of the 28 injured, two are in critical state.
The cause behind the accident is reported as high speed.

The deceased are identified as Nar Bahadur Sarki (52), his daughter Rita Sarki (18) and Hari Thapa of Okhaldhunga.
Injured have been sent to Kathmandu for treatment.
]]>The pedestrians Sabin Prajapati (12) of Madhyapur Thimi-1 and Keshari Maiya Bhasima (62) of Madhyapur Thimi-9 were knocked down by a motorbike (Sa. 3 Pa. 8492), and were critically injured.
The injured Prajapati died at around 10:00 pm while undergoing treatment at Madhyapur Hospital and Bhasima at Norvic Hospital at 12:00 pm, according to the police.
The biker Rawal Kumar Sah (20) of Saptari district, currently living at Duwakot VDC, was taken under control by the police.
He is also being treated at B&B Hospital, Gwarko in Lalitpur, said police.
Locals here have protested the accident and have called closure of the road since 8:00 am this morning.

Journalist Shrestha, a resident of Bhaktapur Municipality-8, Taulachhe, who was riding the bike with number plate Ba 28 Pa 4701, died on the spot, police said.
