Vice chair of Samaj Motiraj Bhandari said we have provided over Rs 10 million for different development projects in our hometown.
Samaj has handed over four ambulances in Johang, Wamitaksar, Dhurkot and Tamghas each so far. Similarly, Samaj has also supported the Asha Disabled Center, a Gulmi-based social organization working in the field of disability, for running different income generating programs.

Recently, Samaj has provided Rs 227,000 in cash and a power point for the organization. The Samaj has been supporting for schools, drinking water projects, road construction projects, natural disaster victims and others. Established by 20 members, 1000 people from the district living in the UK are its general members while 200 are life members.

Nepalis working illegally use general amnesty given by UAE https://nepalireporter.com/2013/02/7112 https://nepalireporter.com/2013/02/7112#respond Fri, 08 Feb 2013 05:36:58 +0000 http://nepalireporter.com/?p=7112 ABU DHABI: As high as 150 Nepali migrant workers working illegally in United Arab Emirates returned home, thanks to UAE government’s decision to grant general amnesty to the illegal workers.

First Secretary at the Nepalese Embassy in Dubai Lok Bahadur Chhetri said that so far 120 Nepali workers have received ‘out pass’. The UAE government had given time to the illegally working foreigners to depart to their home countries till February 3. But, the workers themselves should arrange their air tickets to their home town. As per the UAE rule, the workers can again go to UAE for job once returning to the motherland. Some 300,000 Nepalis are working in UAE, marking 15 percent illegal of the total Nepali workers.
