KATHMANDU: Nepal’s President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav honored over 100 personalities for their contributions to the nation and society at a special function at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, today.

Former Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai and veteran republican leader Ram Raja Prasad Singh were honored posthumously with ‘Rastra Gaurav’ decorations.

Similarly, President Dr. Yadav also handed over the Mahaujjwol Rasttradeep decoration late geographer Dr. Harka Gurung.

The president also decorated 47 persons with the ‘Suprabal Janasewashri’, 37 with ‘Prabal Janasewashri’ and 14 others with ‘Janasewashri’ decorations.
