RAJBIRAJ, Sept 12: Coordinator of Nepali Congress Publicity Committee, Ramesh Lekhak, has said that construction works for postal highway from Saptari to Parsa would be initiated soon.

At a press conference organized by Media Centre, Saptari, at Rajbiraj on Tuesday, leader Lekhak said that the NC was active to carry out repair and maintenance of the roads damaged by flood at different places.

He clarified that the responsibility of empowering the people from Tarai, hill and mountain with their rights is now on NC’s shoulder. RSS

DHANUSHA, May 12: Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri, on Thursday said the development projects running in Nepal under Indian support would soon be completed.

At a felicitation program organized by Nepal – India Friendship Youth Association in Janakpur, the Indian envoy shared that the postal highway – the most important among the running projects – would be completed within a year.

Puri, who is the 24th Indian ambassador to Nepal, noted that Janakpur has played an important role in connecting the civilizations of Nepal and India. He added that a railway network between Nepal and India would promote tourism in both the countries.

The programme presided over by Association’s Chairman and lawmaker, Mahendra Yadav, was attended by the Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) leaders. RSS
