DHANGADHI, Feb 15: Parliamentary Party leader of the CPN (Maoist Center), Trilochan Bhatta, has been appointed as the Chief Minister of province no 7 on Thursday.

State Minister Mohan Raj Malla appointed Bhatta to the post as per the Article 168 (2) of the Constitution.

According to the office of the State Chief, Bhatta will be preparation was underway to administer oath of office and secrecy to Chief Minister Bhatta on February 17.

Bhatta, 48, is provincial assembly member from Doti district.
