SINDHULI, Dec 10: Left alliance candidates has secured both House of Representatives seats from Sindhuli district.

CPN-UML’s Ganesh Kumar Pahadi emerged victorious with 32,529 votes in Sindhuli constituency-1. He defeated Nepali Congress’ Prem Dahal who got 22,389 votes.

Likewise, in Sindhuli constituency-2, CPN (Maoist Center)’s Haribol Prasad Gajurel emerged victorious defeating Nepali Congress candidate Narendra Thapa who only scored 18,127 votes.

Sindhuli: Five persons have died and five others were seriously injured in a tractor accident last night at Kyaneswor-4 of Sindhuli. The deceased have been identified as Kaji Gurung, 65, Phulmaya Thing, 45, Maili Thing, 18, Pradip Syangten, 26, and Bishal Ghelung, 18, of Kyaneswor.
The medical treatment of the injured is underway at Jiwan Hospital in Sarlahi. The tractor (Lu 1 Ta 7301) met an accident at around 9 pm last night while it was heading to Caneswor from Lalbandi of Sarlahi. Kyaneswor Police said that the tractor veered off the road and fell about 30 meters down the road.  The police attributed the accident to the over speed of tractor.
Meanwhile, a bicycle commuter has been seriously injured after a bus hit the bicycle in Jagati Bhaktapur last night.Krishna Bhakta Baag sustained injury while the bus (BA2KHA 5051) heading to Bhaktapur fom Kavre has hit his cycle that he was commuting yesterday afternoon.
