Punam Gupta, 12, daughter of Pawan Gupta of Babiyabirta-7 died of snakebite while cutting grass. The girl died on the way to Koshi Zonal Hospital. 

Similarly, Chandani Devi Sahani was electrocuted at Dainia VDC in the district, according to the District Police Office, Morang.

He was stung by a poisonous snake on Friday. The cases of snakebites have increased in summer and rainy season in the Tarai belt of Nepal and a large number of people meet with fatal end every year due to the snakebites.
