During the meeting, Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai expressed the confidence that the Nepal visit by the spiritual guru would help generate spiritual awareness in the society. Founder of The Art of Living Shri Shri Ravi Shanker arrived here on Tuesday on a four-day visit of Nepal.

Ravishankar also visited the Pashupatinath Temple on Wednesday. Guru Ravishankar paid obeisance to Lord Shiva and recited the Hindu scripture

The spiritual guru and founder of the Art of Living is scheduled to Muktinath and visit Pokhara, Biratnagar and Dharan.

Ravi Shanker is also scheduled to meet President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai and senior political leaders.

Shankar will also address his followers and well-wishers in Pokhara, Biratnagar and Dharan.

Founded in 1981 and currently active in 154 countries worldwide, The Art of Living has been running programs on spiritualism and yoga as well as other humanitarian and peace activities.
