Three dead in road accident

NEPALGUNJ: Three persons died and six others were injured in a road accident at Mahadevpuri VDC in Banke district along the East-West highway this morning. Two died on the spot while one Buddhi Khadka of Samshergunj in the district breathed his last at a hospital.

Identity of the two deceased has not been ascertained yet, police said. The accident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 2551) heading towards Nepalgunj from Kathmandu and a tractor (Se 1 Ta 3622) coming from opposite direction collided with each other. The injured are undergoing treatment at Kohalpur-based Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital.
