Oli airlifted to Delhi for further treatment

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Standing Committee member KP Sharma Oli was taken to Delhi, India in an air ambulance today for advanced medical treatment.

He was undergoing treatment at the Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu and will now undergo treatment at the Medanta Hospital in Delhi.

Leader Oli had been admitted to Norvic after complaining of chest pain on Friday, where he was diagnosed with Pneumonia.

Oli is accompanied by his wife and two personal assistants, it is learnt.

Earlier prior to be taken to Delhi, CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal, senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and other leaders of the party visited the Norvic hospital and took note of health condition of Mr Oli. RSS
