Nepal’s Gyanendra rents flat for month-long Singapore stay

KATHMANDU: For the first time in his history, Nepal’s former King Gyanendra Shah is heading for Singapore with his jumbo family and family members and his personal cook to feed them all there.

Sources near the family confirmed the news and informed that this time around Gyanendra and his family will be staying in an apartment and not an hotel which would serve them cooked food.

The ex royals are moving to Singapore for treating Queen Komal’s bullet wound that she recieved during the Narayan Hiti Durbar Massacre, Gyanendra will also perform his own medical treatment.

Komal has already undergone treatment in France and is supposed to receive final and full treatment in Singapore this time around.

However this is the first time that former royal is taking his cook, Sambhu Adhikari, with him on a foreign tour.

Along with the cook, Gyanendra has also picked two body guards, personal assistant Sagar Timilsina among others.
