Six dead in separate road accidents



KATHMANDU: At least six persons died in separate road accidents in Kathmandu and Dhading districts.

Four persons died after a passenger bus ( Na 2 Kha 4985) overturned at Jyamrung-9 in Dhading district, leaving at least 30 others injured this morning.

The deceased are identified as Rupesh Shrestha and Laxman Dahal while identity of two others is not yet ascertained.

Similarly, a pedestrian died after a micro bus knocked him down at Swayambhu in the capital today morning.

The micro bus (Ba 1 Ja 3269) en route to Balaju from Halchowk knocked Devendra Shrestha, 78, of Sindhupalchowk district.

Likewise, another person died after an unidentified vehicle knocked him down at Gaushala Pingalasthan last night.

The deceased is 19-year-old Subash Khawas of Sunsari district.
