CA polls possible by mid-June: Prachanda

POKHARA: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that fresh CA elections were possible by mid-June as all parties have agreed to go head towards elections by forming an election government under the sitting Chief Justice.

“Parties have agreed to hold fresh elections by forming the CJ-led government as there was no other option left,” Prachanda said today in Pokhara.

Dahal was of the opinion that the major parties and the President have also agreed to remove all sorts of constitutional hindrances to form the CJ-led election government.

He also said that end to country’s major crisis was more important that the law and constitution. The Maoist chief was referring to the protest of Nepal Bar Association to the would be CJ-led government.
