Parties will forge consensus today, Khanal claims
KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) Chairman Jhalanath Khanal has claimed that election government would be formed within few days as the major political powers have reached very near to consensus.
The four political powers are likely to forge consensus in contentious issues, paving a way for the new government formation, Khanal said today welcoming the newly-elected team of Press Chautari Nepal at the party headquarters.
“Some technical issues are left to sort out for forming the CJ-led election government. But, the parties have reached very near to a package deal,” Khanal said.
He also urged the journalists to make the fresh CA poll a success and work responsibly to end the country’s deadlock.
Also speaking at the program, newly-elected chairman of Press Chautari Nepal Rajendra Aryal said he would incorporate all for press freedom and professionalism of journalism in the country.
