Migrant worker from Japan donates Rs 400,000 for a Gulmi school



GULMI: A Nepali migrant worker from Japan has donated Rs 400,000 for his childhood day’s school. 

Raju Karki of Badagaun VDC-6 currently living in Tokyo of Japan provided Rs 400,000 for Prithvi Secondary School in the village. 

He said he decided to support the school, as the school was behind his present dignified living and handsome salary abroad. 

Similarly, Raju Pachhain of Kurgha VDC-9, who is also living in Tokyo, provided Rs 105,555 for the school to upgrade it into a higher secondary school. 

School headmaster Durga Bahadur Suryabansi said that Rs 2.3 has been collected.
