One dies, dozen injured in Okhaldhunga road accident

OKHALDHUNGA: A person died on the spot and 13 others were injured when in a road mishap that took place at Ketuke VDC-3 in Okhaldhunga district this morning.

Dinanath Ghimire, 63, of Chandragadhi, Jhapa, died after the bus (Ba 2 Kha 4917) heading for Katari of Udayapur from Okhaldhunga fell some 70 ft off the road, police said.

Condition of injured Dhan Bahadur Khatri, 45, of Okhaldhunga VDC-2 is critical, according to police. Police Inspector Bhagirath Regmi said the injured are receiving treatment at the Community Hospital Okhaldhunga.
