Global Federation of Nepalese Literature elects new committee led by Biswas Deep Tigela



KATHMANDU: The Central Conference of the Global Federation of Nepalese Literature elected a new working committee under the chair of Biswas Deep Tigela.

The vice-presidents of the newly elected committee are Sagar Shrestha (Saudi Arabia), Bed Dahal (America), Mani Rai ‘Gothale’ (Malaysia) and Surendra Limbu ‘Pardeshi’ (India).

Likewise, Samadarshi Kainla (General Secretary) from UAE, Khagendra Adhikari (Secretary) from Saudi Arabia were elected.

Organization Secretaries are Hari Shiwakoti (Canada), Devendra Khapung (Nepal), Finance Secretary Kedar Sanket (Afghanistan), and Assistant Finance Secretary Jiwan Dewan (Malaysia).

The members are Dr. Lekhnath Kafle (Taiwan), Tirtha Sangam Rai (Qatar), Dip Darshan Shahi (Malaysia), Nagendra Ingnam (America) and Govinda Gautam (Russia). The conference was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Madhu Madhurya (Russia) former president of the federation.

With the objective of developing, extending and protecting the Nepali literature, the federation was formed on Asar 29, 2069 BS on the occasion of the birth anniversary of pioneer poet Bhanubhakta Acharya.
