Don’t trust in Prachanda’s saying: NC Chieftain Koirala

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has accused UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of provoking the indigenous communities for agitation.

The NC boss said that Chairman Prachanda exposed his irresponsible attitude by suggesting the indigenous communities to take to the streets demanding more seats under the proportional electoral system.

Receiving the memorandum submitted by the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities, Koirala said suggested the indigenous leaders not to follow the suit of Prachanda’s incitement.

On the occasion, the indigenous leaders demanded to maintain the proportional of 60/40 per cent in the proportional and direct electoral system in the upcoming CA election.

Koirala also said that he was ready from this end for the promotion of indigenous communities.
