Thapa confident that party will dominate CA elections

POKHARA: Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) Chairman Kamal Thapa has claimed that his party will emerge as a dominant force in the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) elections slated for November 19.

Speaking at a book release programme here on Saturday, he, however, stated that the people are still in dilemma whether the election will happen as per the slated calendar.

“There is still doubts over November 19 elections as four major political parties are failing to convince people that the election will happen on time,” Thapa said.

According to him, the election bears no meaning if the dissenting parties did not take part in it for the new CA cannot draft the constitution.
