CA polls never possible if Nov polls deferred: UCPN Maoist

KATHMANDU: UCPN Maoist spokesperson has said that the Constituent Assembly (CA) election slated for November 19 is the last hope for the nation to draft the new constitution.

Speaking at the party’s regular press event, party spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota warned that CA election will be never held if it is not held on November 19.

He slamed some political parties for putting efforts to foil the CA election and said that his party is fully committed to hold CA election on the agreed date.

On the occassion, Sapkota said that the party will make public its list of direct electoral candidates by Sunday after the Central office endorses the list.
