UML Chairman Khanal meets Chinese leaders
Kathamandu, May 14.CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal, who is on a visit to China met Wang Jiarui, Vice-Chairperson of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Beijing, , on Wednesday.
It has said that the both leaders have discussed bilateral relationships between two nations and potential coordination between the two parties. UML Chair Khanal has assured to promulgate a new constitution on time.He also asked China to keep the rail-roads project from Lhasa to Kathmandu on its priority list.
Likewise, Khanal has also discussed that Nepal is expecting help from its northern neighbour in construction of other rail-roads, hydro power projects and airports in the nation. Khanal has also requested to the Chinese investors to increase their investment in the field of urban development and electricity.
In response, Chinese leader Mr.Wang Jiarui has also assured for Chinese assistance in the development projects in Nepal.Mr Wang has suggested Nepal to draw more foreign investment for development of the nation including the tasks of infrastructures development, transportation, hydro powers and urban developments.
UML chair Mr. Khanal, who went for China on May 13 has already visited Yunnan province’s capital city Kunming and Shandong province’s capital Jinan.
