Jagdamba Giants win in Ncell NPL 2014

Kathmandum May 16 .Vishal Group Warriors led by National team Captain Paras Khadka and Jagdamba Giants under the captainship of Shakti Gauchan won their respective matches in the ongoing Ncell NPL 2014 held at Far-Western Region on Thursday.

In the onging match Vishal Group defeated Colors X-Factor with the clear margin of  five wickets. Vishal Group chased the target of 181 runs in 48.1 with the loss of five wickets as Deepesh Khatri made a half-century, Prakash KC scored 33 runs, Suraj Prasad Kurmi 26 runs, Paras Khadka 19 runs and Manjeet Shrestha 15 runs.

In the match as Vishal Group chose to field first after winning the toss, X-Factors had made 180 runs with the loss of nine wickets in allotted 50 overs. Gyanendra Malla 77 runs went in vain after losing the match.

Ramnaresh Giri claimed four wickets while Yagyaman Kumal took two wickets for Warriors.

In another match of the day, Jagdamba Giants beat Sagarmatha Legends led by Binod Bhandari by 51 runs played at Dhangadi. Sagarmatha had defeated Vishal
Group by huge margin 107 runs in the inaugural match on Wednesday.
