PM Koirala returning today after 3 day visit of India



Kathmandu, May 28.  Prime Minister Sushil Koirala is returning home from India on Wednesday.

Koirala was in a three-day India visit to the southern neighbour to attend the swearing-in ceremony of its new Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.

During his visit, Koirala held meetings with Modi and other Indian leaders including President Pranab Mukherjee. He also had separate meetings with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Bhutanese Prime Minister Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay on Tuesday.

He also extended an invitation to Modi to visit Nepal, even before the SAARC Summit which will be held in Kathmandu in November. He had left Kathmandu for New Delhi on Monday.
