Truck hits bike‚ biker killed

BIRATNAGAR: March 13: A bike rider died and a pillion rider sustained critical injuries when a truck hit the motorbike they were riding at Baragachhi Chowk in Biratnagar on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Tejnath Adhikari of Biratnagar-5.

According to the District Police Office, Morang, the incident occurred when the truck (Up 61 L 1116) with Indian registration number plate hit the two-wheeler (Ko 2 Pa 3094) this morning.

Critically injured pillion rider Junu Dhakal is undergoing treatment at the Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital, police said.
