Pokhara-Jomsom bus service disrupted

MYAGDI, March 18: direct Pokhara-Jomsom bus services that witnessed obstruction on the very first day yesterday faced the same problem on the second day today due to syndicate system of transport entrepreneurs in district headquarters Beni.The vehicles that left for Jomsom from Pokhara returned from the Myagdi-Parabt border area after failing to reach the destination due to entrepreneurs’ obstruction. Earlier, transport entrepreneurs of Mustang and Prithvi Highway Bus Entrepreneurs Committee had decided to operate direct bus service from Pokhara to Jomsom.Senior vice-chair of Myagdi Jeep and Bus Service Committee Kamal KC said they disrupted buses from Pokhara as the decision was taken without consultation.
