Internal disputes to be settled through CA: FM Mahat

Kathmandu, Sept 11: Minister for Finance Dr Ram Sharan Mahat has stressed on resolving the internal disputes seen in constitution drafting through Constituent Assembly (CA).

While addressing the “Teej Programme” organized by the Nepal Tarun Dal, Nepal Women’s Association and Nepal Students’ Union, Nuwakot here today, Minister Mahat stressed on putting official voices in CA even for legitimacy.

He added that the Nepalese did not have the history of social disharmony as we have been living in social harmony since long, therefore it should not be destroyed.

Minister Mahat further said that the government was for the religious and cultural freedom and Nepalese should be responsible to preserve their religions and cultures as well.

Minister Mahat said that the frequent general strike has badly affected the national economy. He stressed on following the doctrine of freedom fighter BP Koirala.

Similarly, Nepali Congress central member Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat stressed on timely constitution even for institutionalizing the achievements of various peoples’ movement. RSS ———– (Photo available)
