Current problems would be resolved soon: Minister Basnet
Pokhara, Dec 10: Minister for Home Affairs Shakti Bahadur Basnet has said that the ongoing problem surfaced in the country would be resolved soon.
At a news conference organized by the Revolutionary Journalists’ Association, Kaski chapter today Minister Basnet added that the current problems would be resolved soon as the government was actively working for sorting out them.
He added that the government was working to hold meaningful dialogues with protesting Tarai-based parties forwarding the constitution amendment process. He added that the problem seen in provinces delineations could be resolved by forming mechanism, parliamentary committee or commission and protesting parties also should agree for that.
Minister Basnet further said that the problem could not be resolved through one-sided as it needs to be dealt with various angles.
In another context, Minister Basnet claimed that the new constitution was the best democratic constitution in South Asia however, some forces were trying to create illusion against it and that should be clarified.
