GEMS is Real School of Nepal 2015



KATHMANDU: Six regional winners of Real School of Nepal competed on December 11 to become the ultimate winner. And GEMS School from Lalitpur won the coveted title of Real School of Nepal 2015 along with cash prize of Rs 1,00,000 as per a press release issued by Dabur Nepal. The students in this team also received scholarship worth Rs 10,000 each. The winner was declared at the Grand Finale and Prize Distribution Ceremony held at Army Officers’ Club, Bhadrakali.

Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir (BKVM) School from Biratnagar and Reliance International Academy from Kathmandu became the first runner up and second runner up respectively, adds the press statement. They also won cash prizes and scholarship. The first runner up received Rs 50,000 as cash prize and scholarship worth Rs 5,000 per student. The second runner up took home Rs 25,000 as cash prize along with scholarship worth Rs 3,000 per student.

Others who competed for the title were Shanti Nikunj Higher Secondary Boarding School, Pokhara, Canon Higher Secondary School, Butwal and Rosebud School, Kathmandu.

The competition was judged on individual performance of students on dance, extempore, football juggling, painting, 3 minutes to fame and score the real goal along with group performances like quiz.

Real School of Nepal is a national level competition and platform where students can showcase their talent. The journey to find Real School of Nepal 2015 embarked on August 10 from the east in Biratnagar and went unto west and central parts of the country. There were six regional competitions before the grand finale.
