Minister Kharel insists on all sides’ agreement to end crisis

Surunga (Jhapa), Dec 20: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Agni Kharel, on Sunday, said mere agreement between the Nepali Congress and the agitating Madhesi Front would not resolve present crisis.
Minister Kharel’s statement came in the wake of an agreement between the Front and the NC to move ahead based on sentiments.
The Minister arrived in Jhapa district to inaugurate the celebration of the anniversary of Rajbanshi Society Development Committee-Jhapa. He spoke to journalists briefly at Birtamode insisting on all parties’ efforts to amend new constitution and resolve existing crisis.
Appealing to the Front not to further fuel the agitation, he urged them to seek solution through dialogue and negotiations.
The problem with the demarcation of the provincial states will not be resolved immediately but we can take time for three to four months and seek solution through agreement, Minister Kharel underscored. RSS
