Two die in tractor accident
Dailekh, Jan 5: At least two persons died and another one sustained injuries after a tractor heading towards Naumule ferrying construction materials from a drinking project in district headquarters met an accident on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Indra Bahadur Thapa, 56, of Toli VDC-3 and Jyoti Rana, 36, of Toli VDC-2. Laxmi Prasad Koirala, 52, of Narayan Municipality – 3 was injured in the incident. Koirala is receiving treatment at the district hospital, according to District Police Office (DPO).
The ill-fated tractor (Lu 3 Ta 1552) was transporting construction materials including, cement, from drinking water project at Toli VDC. It had fallen around 25 meters below the road at Dhitaha of Narayan Municipality-5. RSS
