Nepal can learn from Israel



Kathmandu, Jan 5: Various speakers have stated that Nepal should take inspiration from the technological progress Israel has achieved.

Speaking at a programme organized here on Tuesday by the Nepal Council of World Affairs, on the occasion of 55th years of diplomatic ties between Nepal and Israel, Israeli Ambassador to Nepal, Yaron Mayer, said that Nepal could learn a lot from Israel.
Israeli Envoy further said Nepal could learn how Israel achieved prosperity through technological advancement.
Chairperson of the Council Rajendra Bahadur Shrestha said that Nepal shared cordial relationship with Israel since both the countries maintained diplomatic ties. He opined that the tie was further strengthened by the state visit to Israel made by late kings Mahendra Shah and Birendra Shah.
Similarly, Shreedhar Gautam, General-Secretary of the Council, pointed out the need for the Nepalis to learn lessons from Israel’s advancement in technology and agriculture.
