Telecom services restored in Langtang



Dhunche (Rasuwa), Jan 16: The telephone service in Langtang, which was knocked out following the devastation of the April 25 earthquake, has been restored from today.

The telecom service has been brought into reoperation by ferrying the equipments by air, according to the Nepal Telecom, Rasuwa.

The reoperation of the telecom service in one of this famous trekking routes in the country has not only brought cheers to the locals but also the tourists dropping by Langtang, shared Derup Tamang, a local in Langtang.

Langtang, which wore a deserted look following the quake, is gradually limping back to life as the reconstruction of the quake-damaged infrastructures is gaining pace.
