Bridge inaugurated three yrs after its completion
Kaski, Jan 18: A motorable bride that links Lekhnath Municipality and Rupakot VDC in Kaski district was inaugurated after three years of its completion.
Chief Secretary Dr Somlal Subedi inaugurated the bridge amid a function on Sunday. Construction of the 21 metre-long motorable bride was completed on October 5, 2012.Chief Engineer of District Technical Office, Kaski, Narayan Prasad Shrestha said that the bride along the Satmuhane-Rupakot-Thumki road section in the district was constructed with the investment of Rs 15.5 million. Chief Secretary Dr Subedi is also a permanent resident of Thumki VDC.
After the inaugural ceremony, Dr Subedi urged all not to play politics in the development works.
Likewise, Dr Subedi pledged his supports on his side for the zoo that is being established at Pachabhaiya in Lekhnath Municipality.
