Nepal to take on Bahrain in Bangabandhu Gold Cup Football Championship
Kathmandu, Jan 21: Nepal is to take on Bahrain in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup Football Championship being held in Bangladesh.
Nepal, which has reached the final after 17 years, will play Bahrain at 4.45 pm on Friday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka. The Nepali team will be playing with the goal of clinching the championship.Nepal entered the final of the championship defeating Maldives 4-1 in the semi final.
Nepal had not entered the finals of any international football tournament for 17 years before this. It had played the final match of the South Asian Games in 1999.
