Two died, nine injured in bus accident
Chautara, Feb 18: Two passengers died on the spot and nine others were injured in a bus accident that occurred at Baramchi of Sindhupalchowk district on Wednesday evening.
The deceased are Maili Tamang, 47, of Baramchi VDC-2 and Daba Syangbo, 55, of ward no. 6 of the same VDC.
Three among the injured are critical and are being treated at Dhulikhel district hospital in Kavre, informed DSP Biswo Adhikari.
The passenger-ferrying bus (Ba 2 Kha 2702) en route to Paitan VDC, Kattike from Kathmandu met with the accident after it veered off the road some 200 metres down.
The injured were rescued on the same night, police informed.
