Five missing in dry landslide found normal



Myagdi, Feb 23: All five persons who remained out of touch after a dry landslide at the Annapurna South Base Camp in northern Narchyang VDC of Myagdi have come into communication.

The five locals who were on the way to a forest for chopping off bamboo remained out of contact after a plume of dust from the dry landslide engulfed the area.A group of local people mobilized for searching the missing had established contact with them in a normal condition, said Engineer of Dhalemdikhola Hydropower Project Bishnu Thapa.

Those missing were Tak Bahadur Thajali, Sher Bahadur Thajali and Dil Bahadur Thajali of Narchyang VDC-5, Hukum Pun of ward no. 6 and Tar Bahadur Fagami of ward 4, Thapa shared.

Meanwhile, the dust plume triggered by avalanche since last night is still continuing.
