Bangladeshi Minister Inu calls on leader Nepal
Kathmandu, March 4: Bangladeshi Minister for Information Hasanul Haq Inu has called on CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal today.
During the meeting, they discussed on various issues of mutual interests and Nepal-Bangladesh relations, among others.
Bangladeshi Ambassador to Nepal, Mashfee Binte Shams told the National News Agency (RSS) that the visiting Bangladeshi minister, on the occasion, shared leader Nepal that Bangladesh was eager to invest in Nepal’s hydro power and energy sector.
In response, leader Nepal urged for the investment in these sectors, assuring that environment conducive for the same has been created in the country.
Furthermore, leader Nepal assured the Bangladeshi minister that Nepal was making headway towards political stability, sustainable peace and economic prosperity. He was also quick to add that the incumbent government was committed towards effective implementation of the new constitution.
