Hailstone damages winter crops
Dhangadhi, March 14: Hailstone occurred on Sunday night has destroyed winter crops like wheat, musuro pulse and vegetables in Dhangadhi.
A local farmer Ram Gulab Rana said that the rain along with hailstone and gale caused massive damage to mango and litchi that had started flowering.Farmers are now worried after the hailstone completely destroyed their wheat plants ready for harvest.
According to the District Agriculture Development Office, the details of the loss caused by the hailstone are yet to be received.
