Food crops damaged in Mustang
Mustang, March 14: Rain and hailstone occurred at different places in Mustang district today has destroyed food crops worth tens of thousands rupees.
Farmers said that the hailstone has caused massive damages to different food crops including chilli, maize and wheat. Food crops planted at Jomsom, kagbeni, Marfa, Tukuche, Kobang, Lete, among other places have been damaged.The hailstone has mostly damaged chilli and maize crops, aid a local Ash Bahadur Thakali.
However, apple farmers are elated from rainfall. Locals said that heavy snowfall has taken place at upper part in the district.
