The country changed under the heat and blaze of the Maoist revolt :Prachanda



Kathmandu, April 13:  Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal prachanda has expressed a belief the Maoists’ uprising would move forward under the strength of full unity.

Addressing a joint training organized by Society of Martyrs’ Families and the Society of the Families of Fighters Disappeared by the State  on today at the party headquarters, Paris Danda, Dahal pledged to thrust forward by breaking all obstacles while respecting the people’s sentiment.

Insisting on the fact that the Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA) would not have been inked had the Maoists’ revolt been weak, Dahal added, “The country changed under the heat and blaze of the Maoist revolt.”

Underscoring martyrs and disappeared fighters as important weapon for leading the country into a new era, economic prosperity and revolt, the UCPN (Maoist) Chief further stressed the party’s resoluteness in giving martyrs their due honour and fulfilling their dreams.
