Police raid TIA and Labour Office



Kathmandu, May 9: Police have raided the Tribhuvan International Airport and the Labour Office, Tahachal today.

Chief of Metropolitan Police Office, Crime Investigation Division, senior superintendent of police (SSP) Sarbendra Khanal informed that the police have arrested two women from the Airport as they were on the way to abroad carrying fake re-work permit documents, however, they had never been abroad before.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that they were going abroad through the Himalaya Red Panda Travels.

Minister for Labour and Employment Deepak Bohara was also present while police raided the TIA.

SSP Khanal added that they raided these offices as they were receiving the information about the irregularities seen in Re-Work Permit documents.

Similarly, police seized documents and computers from the Re-Work Permit Division at the Labour Office, Tahachal. RSS
