Morang, May 23: Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that although rewriting the constitution was not possible as the Madhes-centric parties would like to have it, its amendment was possible.
Talking to media persons in Biratnagar today, the former general secretary of the party Sitaula underlined the need for the big parties to prepare a roadmap for establishing good governance, political stability, development and lasting peace in the country, by sticking to the main national goal.
He also suggested the government and the main opposition party to work together for the implementation of the constitution, adding that the dissatisfaction regarding some provisions of the constitution should be sorted out through talks.
Leader Sitaula also underlined the need of dialogue among the parties on all issues and initiation to this should be immediately started after the budget is passed by the parliament. RSS
