‘Want to pass the amendment bill? How about hiring house members from foreigners.’

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: CPN-UML leader Raghubir Mahaseth speaking said there was no chance the proposed amendment bill will be passed in the parliament.

During an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal presided by senior journalist and Club’s President Rishi Dhamala today, he said, “Endorsement of proposed amendment bill is merely the government’s imagination.” He added in a sarcastic tone, “Only if they hire house members from foreigner’s parliament, will the bill be passed.”

Shrestga also accused Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to be prolonging his stay in the power.

While Mahendra Raya Yadav, leader of Madhesi Morcha insisted on passing of the proposed constitution amendment bill before declaring election date or Madhesi Morcha will withdraw support to government and start nationwide protest.
