UML to prioritize domestic industries: UML chair Oli

KATHMANDU, May 8: CPN (UML) chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that his party will promote and prioritize domestic industries and their productions.

While beginning the party’s election door-to-door campaign at ward no 21, Lagantole of Kathmandu Metropolitan City today, chair Oli added that bankruptcy of Bhrikuti Paper Industry, Bansbari Leather Shoes Industry among other notable domestic industries were unfortune to the country and such condition would not let to be repeated after his party wins local poll.

He added that after the bankruptcy of these industries people were compelled to use foreign productions. Leader Oli said that they were even compelled to print party’s election manifesto after purchasing papers from foreign countries after the bankruptcy of Bhrikuti Paper Industry.

Chair Oli claimed that the metropolis will be made corruption free city after his party’s victory in local poll.
