UML candidates elected in Pokhara’s municipal executive council

POKHARA, June 10: CPN (UML) candidates have been elected to the Pokhara – Lekhnath Metropolitan City’s Municipal Executive Council.

As per the vote count which concluded last night, five women members from UML – Radhikar Kumari Shahi Yogi, Shantu Devi Subedi, Manbhuja BK, Pushpa Pahari Ghale and Yasodha Bhattarai – were elected, according to Chief Election Official, Nagendra Lal Karna.

In the Dalit and marginalized communities’ category, UML’s Chature Kami, Om Prasad Gauchan and Buddha Raj Bhujel have been elected. RSS
